SARAH BOORN, whose family sheet prepared by SHERRY BOURN, 4257 Timuquana Rd,
Jacksonville, FL 32210, is printed on p. 8 of the Jan 1987 newsletter. Dean wishes to learn more
about the ancestors of this family. He descends from their dau RUTH who m. WILLIAM
NEWMAN BEAN. He sent 25 pages of documentation on the families of IRA and his brother
DANIEL who m. CONTENT BOORN. If you would like copies, write for costs involved. He
also has collected much research on the BEAN, BEACH, and STAFFORD families.

was son of JAMES & ELONOR (PRINCE) VAUGHAN, grandson of EDMUND &
ELIZABETH (SMITH/ARMSTRONG) VAUGHAN. Sherry sent a page from a book
HISTORY OF WOODFORD COUNTY, KY which details names and facts about EDMOND
VAUGHAN, SR, b 1760, s/o CORNELIUS b 1729. Edmond m-1 SARAH SAMUEL and m-2
SUSANNA THOMSON. Their children and other descendants are named. Another page from the
VA Historical Magazine tells about EDMUND HALL VAUGHAN, d 1838, & wife SARAH
HYLTON WALKER, d 1864.
GRACE YOHN, R.D. #2, Box 127, Tyrone. PA 16686 is another descendant of the WILLIAM
VAUGHN-VAWN whose family sheet as compiled by BARBARA MADANY, 13026 N.Surrey
Cr., Phoenix, AZ 85029 was printed on p. 60 of the November 1987 issue. Son Thomas was
Barbara's ancestor; and his bro WILLIAM ALEXANDER who m. RUTH KELLY was Grace's.
These two women had not known one another; so Grace was very excited to discover that Barbara
knew the siblings of her own William. Both are detailed researchers, so they have much in common!
JANET MINERD, 9855 Shadow Way, #1316, Dallas, TX 75243 is another "cousin", her ancestress
being sister Isabella.

the families of VAUGHN, SILVERTHORN, LINN, RENECKER, SWARTZ, YOHN, FLECK,
BATEMAN.
CHARLENE WALKER BRAZELL. 6306 Quail Ridge Rd. BartlesviHe. OK 74006 attended the
Elderhostel in advanced genealogy at Brigham Young Univ in Provo, Utah this spring. While there she
copied 21 pages of the FAMILY REGISTRY INDEX which lists names of researchers, the
Vaughan/Vaughn names they are researching along with dates, places, parents, and spouse. If you
would like to have a11 these pages, or just those which might give facts on the person for whom
you search, send 10it a page and a large size SASE to Charlene or me. For some reason there are
no listings for THOMAS VAUGHAN/VAUGHN. I notice that some of you Newsletter readers are
given as contact persons.
