from KY (Green, Pike, LaRue Cos) in the early 1900's. Her parents were CLARENCE
VAUGHN & LULA MAE KESSLER. Her gr-parents were SAMUEL VAUGHN & LILLIE
MAE McCUBBIN; and the gr-gr-parents were NAPOLEON "NIP" VAUGHN & Miss MILLER.
She has other information on the McCubbin, Kessler, and Vaughn families.

JOSEPHUS VAUGHAN, being a United Empire Loyalist, sought safety in Canada during the
Revolutionary War but returned to New York state after the War. He suggests that others may
find a similar situation in their family.
