Was this Milly Vaughan the same as "Mildrege Vaughan," wife named in will of William Vaughan
(WB 2:149 Prov. 1786 Mecklenburg Co., Va. - see Newsletter Oct '84, p. 46). In deeds of William
Vaughan, "Milly" relinq. dower.
Mildrege Vaughan (maiden name not determined) was m. to ---? Gregory, before William Vaughan,
and apparently was not his 1st wife. Her will prov. 1791, Mecklenburg Co., Va. named sons Ambrose
Gregory, Joseph Gregory, granddau. Lucy Hayes; the residue to be div. among "my six chil."
