ROBERT O. VAUGHAN, 1065 Dotta Dr, Eiko, NV 89801 searches for descendants of
WILLIAM T. VAUGHAN, who lived in Wayne Co WV prior to 1330. One of his nine
children was THOMAS J. VAUGHAN who m ELIZABETH S. SAMPSON in 1850. In
1857 they moved to Layne Co OR where they lived the rest of their lives.

ROBERT R. VAUGHN, Rt 2, Box 76, Holt, MO 64048 found this court action in the
courthouse in Winchester, KY, but could not find anything else that would clarify
the relationships between bhe people mentioned. Could someone help him straighten
out the relationship between NANCY VAUGHN and ENOS VAUGHN?  "NANCY
VAUGHN came personally into Court and with the approbation of the Court made
choice of ENOS VAUGHN as her Guardian who together with JOHN HOLDER his
Security entered into & acknowledged their bond in the penalty of -&500 Conditioned
as the Law directs which bond is ordered to be recorded. (Court held 22nd May, 1798,
Order Book No. 2, page 232, dark County Clerk's Office)"

MARY LILLIAN WHITTEM, 308 M. Mayne St., Macon, MS 39341, in the Nov. 1985
 issue of the Newsletter gave information on JAMES VAUGHAN, b cl762, d. Fayette Co
AL, and his son GEORGE who m CATHERINE ELGIN ROBERTS. I have now located
more information on descendants of his family in Goodspeed's MEMORIAL &
GENEALOGICAL RECORD OF THE SOUTHWEST where a biography of Capt.
FRANCIS ASBERY VAUGHAN is given. If you want a copy of this material, send me

CHRISTIAN who m MARY POLLY ANN VAUGHAN and ALLEN CHRISTIAN who
m MARGARET JANE VAUGHAN. David and Alien Christian were sons of JAMES &
ELIZABETH AMDEKSON CHRISTIAN who m cal8l5. Elizabeth was the dau of DAVID
 & ELIZABETH ANDERSON. Were Mary Polly Ann and Margaret Jane Vaughan sisters
of ALLEN VAUGHAN who m NILLEY ((INSTEAD?

HELEN WILLIAMS, 423 Griffin Parkway, Mission, TX 78572 shares this data she found in
a book published in 1838 when Texas was a Republic, "An Abstract of the Original Titles of
Record in the General Land office. Printed in Accordance with a Resolution of the House of
Representatives, Passed 24th May, 1838*. She copied these Vaughan's from a reprint of the
book by Pemberton Press

HAHCY NULISCH, 5311 Banting Way, Dallas, TX 75227 wonders about VAUGHAN
and ADDIS family connections. She sent copies of legal transactions between JAMES
VAUGHAN and RICHARD ADDIS in Onion Co. SC in 1825. These papers indicate
 that James owed Richard money—probably over 52000.   Seems the dispute concerns
 the sale of a horse.   Nancy wrote, "I have given up reading mystery novels since  becoming
 interested in genealogy because real life turned out to be even more of a  mystery challenge!"    
Don't we all agree?????

ROBERT ARNOLD, 328 Maple Aye, Galeaburg, IL 61401 descends from STEPHEN
VAUGHAN of Wake Co NC. who m Priacillai?) and died after 1821. Their children*
GIDEON, JOHN. STEPHEN, QUIMSEY, NANCY, & ALICE Stephen, Jr. m.
DELANEY FERRELL. Children! VINCENT V., TROY(?), EPHRAIM(?).  Robert's
ancestor was Vincent. Any help?

CHARLES THOMAS PRATT wno married a Miss VAUGHN or Callaway Co MO.
He is just beginning his search into the Vaughn side, as ha has been working on SALLY
 PRATT who was dau of the above. "Any help will be appreciated.
