the parents of her gr mother JULIA VAUGHAN, 1844-1928, who m. DR. JOHN B. MCKEMIE,

She had a brother Robert who preceded her in death and also lived in Magnolia, AR.  Another brother
 W. H. VAUGHAM, lived in BROOKHAVEN, MS.  Prances' grmother referred to him as "Uncle
Hadie."  She also thinks he_once was connected with some school in Waco, TX.

BERNIECE VAUGHAN, 2044 Kenway, Lodi, CA 95240 wrote that she has been searching for
years on her husband's family.  Three Vaughan brothers, JOSEPH, JAMES, & JOHN, married 3
daughters of JAMES HILL (son of ISAAC HILL) and his wife JERUSHA ALLEE HILL in Barren.
Co KY in the early 1800's.  Around 1820-25 Joseph and ELVIRA (HILL), James and CHARITY
(HILL), and John and MILLIE (HILL) emigrated to Cooper Co MO.  There might have been
another brother ELISHA, too.  Maybe others.  Rumor has it that the boys were orphans, farmed
out to other families; but she has no proof at this.  Can you help her or suggest where she might turn
for help?
