CHARLES B. VAUGHAN, 442 Conduitt Drive, Hooresville, IN 46158 shared some of his woes
in trying to construct his family lines. He wishes to determine the parentage of RICHARD H.
VAUGHAN. One of his uncles was named JOHN WILLIAM PINCKNEY VAUGHAN, and
his own father and brother were named JAMES- He has good information on other lines of his
family, e.g. GARRETTS, KNIGHTS, EDWARDS, and BALLS if anyone is interested. Thanks

JOHNSON VAUGHAN, b 4 Feb 1782, VA- Ml NANCY LOWE 25 Oct 1810, Davidson Co TM,
M2 ELIZABETH LOWE 1815 (sister of #1 wife). M3 ELIZA JANE ANDERSON BERRY (widow
of ADAM BERRY), She has census data, photographs, wills, marriage records, tombstone
rubbings, newspaper clippings, etc., which she is willing to share with descendants of JOHNSON
VAUGHAN,
ROBERT B. HUDSON, P.O. Box 445 Galax, VA 24333 states that his gr grandmother was NANCY
JANE VAUGHAN (1836-1907). She m RICHARD PINKEY BYARS- If you know anything about
these people, he would like to hear from you.
ALICE C. MOORE, 223Q E- Wright, #8 Universal City, TX 78148 has a cardex of all the Vaughans
with whom she has corresponded and her husband's family that had some Vaughan connections in GA.

MONROE F, VAUGHT, 2932 Woodbine Tr, Jackson MS 39212 was b in 1916 in LeFlore Co MS to
WILLIAM MONROE VAUGHT and PAULINE HALES, who died during his childhood. His father's
brothers were MALONE and THOMAS and sisters were MARY LEE and CARRIE. He knows they
lived in Carroll, Montgomery, and Copiah counties. Uncle Thomas moved to AR and MI. Aunt Mary
Lee lived in Humphreys Co, MS. He would appreciate help learning more about his family.
WILSON B. VAUGHAN, 126 Oleander Dr,, Panama City Beach, FL 32407 seeks the name of his
gr father whose name he believes was JAMES WILSON VAUGHAN. After James death, his wife
CATHERINE m a Dr. BARCLIFT and lived in Cullman, AL. Wilson's father was ALBERT WILSON
VAUGHAN (1881-1966) who m. SALLIE MAE BRITTAIN. His f's bro was J. J- VAUGHAN ("Tump)
who lived in Memphis, TN, A gr uncle was AKE VAUGKAH, Recognize any of these names?
MALCOLM H. HUDSON, Route Seven, Del Monte Place, Longview, TX 75602 says that the
information given by VIVIAN BANDY, 49 San Miguel, San Mateo, CA 94403 on page 6 of the January
1984 edition does not agree with information that he has on NICHOLAS VAUGHAN and ELIZABETH WILLIAMS. If this also your line, maybe you should check with one or both of them. Or can you prove
that ELIZABETH, d of NICHOLAS married GEORGE W. BALDWIN?
RUBY STINNETT, 401 Eastland Dr., Duncan, OK 73533 writes that her gr father was ROBERT
SAMUEL VAUGHN. Her gr grandfather was ROBERT FRANKLIN VAUGHN, They migrated to
OK from DIXON, TN. She is also involved in publishing a book on the MI2ER family which came
from Germany, via England.
BERNARD S. VAUGHAN, 2219 Fifth Ave South, Irondale, AL 35210 writes that his gr grandfather
was JAMES VAUGHAN (b ca 1855) in Paces, VA. His grandfather was WILLIAM HENRY
VAUGHAN (b ca 1885), whose children were LOVELINE, WILLIAM. BERNARD (b 1910), and
AARON. He says that his aunt LOVELINE HERMAN, 3313 Brighton Street, Portsmouth, VA 23707
has information on the family records.
BARBARA C. VAUGHN, Rt. gl, Pell City, AL 35125 is descended from a SANFORD VANDIVER
VAUGHAN. Her husband is descended from GOODE VAUGHN. That should make tracing family
lines very interesting and confusing!
ROBERT C. VAUGHAN 7 Windward, Alexander City, AL 35010 is descended from HEYWOOD
VAUGHAN (1820-1914) f of REV. JAMES E. VAUGHAN (1854-1932) whose son was ROBERT
HACKLANDER VAUGHAN (1882-1918). Are any of these names in your family line?
