Halloween marks the last day in
uniform for Tommy Anderson, age 60, colored, living at 1319 East Murdock. He
has shaken thousands of door knobs during his 22 years with the Wichita Police
Department, it was announced by T. H. Jaycox, Police Chief.
J.S. "Father Fugit described Tommy as a fine cop. "I worked
the North Main Beat with him for years," "Father" said
"Tommy and I made a lot of raids together," he mused, "all sorts
of things, raids on robbery cases and the like. "Tommy was always doing
something comical"
