the Martin Vaughan, age 28 is a brother or cousin of Thomas;
and the Martin, age 11 is my grandfather.
Martin age 11 coincides with information on his death certificate as to how long in the U.S.
I think Thomas came to the U.S. after his wife Katie died.
My birth certificate reads James E. Vaughan.
My father changed the family name to Vaughn.
